Heading into the #Gomantong Caves was not for the faint-hearted but if David Attenborough can do it then so can we. Our rossgardentours group tentatively entered the giant cavern. Smelly and slippery with bat guano, and the occasional wall alive with cockroaches, this is where locals collect birds nests and sell for a premium to foreign buyers. From a geological perspective it is one of the most spectacular caves I’ve ever been in and definitely a must-do for adventurous souls. #rt_sabah
