Ross Garden Tours is recognised as the world’s leading specialist garden tour company. Founded by Graham & Sandra Ross over 40 years ago, Ross Garden Tours were created from a passion to share the world’s most beautiful gardens.

The company has taken groups to more than 1000 gardens on four continents developing a reputation for tours that are relaxed, effortless, friendly, inspiring and great fun. Founder, Graham Ross, is Australia’s leading garden communicator broadcasting his Garden Clinic radio show weekly across Australia since 1980 and TV presenter on Better Homes & Gardens TV (Australia) since 1995.

Our Tours

In Australia we offer short breaks, week-long rambles and longer wildflower safaris. Overseas, we lead tours on four continents. You can join a Ross Garden tour from Australia, or from Europe, America or Asia. We stay in luxury accommodation, and pre-arrange all bus, ferry or train travel. Local guides share insights into history, culture, and the best local restaurants and shops. Your Ross Garden tour leader is your personal escort. We take care of everything so all you need to do is enjoy your holiday.

Our Service

We provide a comprehensive booking service to save you time and money. Just call us and we can organise your tour and your flights, as well as tickets to the opera, ballet or theatre in any of the cities you’ll be visiting.  We can also organise extensions either before or after the tour. Just let us know what you’d like to do and we will arrange it. You’ll be invited to our pre-tour get together, where you’ll meet your fellow travellers and your tour leader and discuss what’s in store. And when you set off on tour a Ross Garden Tours representative will be there to lend a hand and wish you bon voyage! At the end of the year all of our travellers get together to celebrate, catch up with travel friends and share photos and stories.

Tour Costs

The tour price includes your accommodation, travel, sightseeing, entrance fees, meals as specified, porterage and tipping. Airfares are included in the inc. air tour price.

Clubs, Associations and Bespoke

Ross Garden Tours have organised tours for many clubs and societies including Probus and Rotary clubs, the American Conifer Society, Pacific Horticulture USA, Hardy Plant Society of Oregan USA, and American Horticultural Society. The Ross Family

Graham and Sandra Ross started Ross Garden Tours in 1980 to share beautiful gardens around the world with fellow garden-lovers. Their son Kent is the Managing Director and Licensee.

The Ross Family also publishes the Garden Clinic Journal, a magazine for members of the Garden Clinic Club, Australia’s largest gardening club. Members receive a discount on every tour.

Graham is a horticulturist, plantsman, author, publisher and garden media presenter. He has worked in the horticultural industry for more than 55 years. He was Head of the Division at the Ryde School of Horticulture, NSW, where he taught for ten years. He has been a garden communicator across various media for the last 35 years. He broadcasts the Garden Clinic radio show across Australia on 2GB and has been a presenter on the multi-Logie winning Better Homes & Gardens TV Show since its inception in 1995.

Graham has received many awards from the Australian Nursery and Garden Industry as well the Gold Laurel and Hall of Fame awards from the Australian Horticultural Media Association.

Graham was a Trustee of the Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney for ten years.

In 2011, The Royal Horticultural Society in London presented Graham with the Veitch Memorial Medal in recognition of his contribution to horticulture in Australia and around the world. Graham is only the fourth Australian recipient of the VMM since Queen Victoria created the medal in 1870.

Graham has been travelling the world looking at gardens since 1956 and, with wife Sandra, co-founded Ross Garden Tours in 1978. His passion for gardening, travel and people comes together in every Ross Garden Tour.
