India 2014 launch

The opulent palaces, beautiful gardens, vibrant colours and incredible bazaars of India have cast their spell on Peter and Hilary Whitehead and they can’t wait to share the magic.  The inaugural Ross Garden Tours tour of India heads off next February. Make a diary note if you’ve ever wanted to see the Taj Mahal, the Amber Fort or the tomb of Humayun.  As well as hunting out the best sites, gardens, and shopping, Peter and Hilary have found some outstanding hotels, like this one, the Taj Rambagh Palace in Jaipur.

The Rambagh was the home of Jaipur’s royalty until 1957, and you’ll feel like a royal in its elegant rooms, marbled corridors and majestic gardens. The grand Verandah, shown here, is just the spot for an afternoon tea (or should that be g+t?), accompanied by the sound of the fountains and the sight of strutting peacocks.
