Frequently Asked Questions

Are flights included on your tours?

Most tours have a group airfare option as well as a Land Only option without flights.

Do I have to be a gardener to enjoy your tours?

No not at all. We visit the most beautiful places in the world that everyone can enjoy.

Do I need to be fit to go on your tours?

We visit some large gardens and extensive public places so a minimum level of fitness is required. Walking on uneven ground for 45 minutes and getting on and off a coach easily is a good guide.

Can I meet your tour in the destination?

Yes, you can make arrangements to join the tour at the first hotel in the itinerary.

Can I share with another passenger to avoid the single supplement?

Yes, we can request other interested passengers to share a room.

What are your deposit conditions?

Our deposit is $800 per person which is non-refundable. We recommend you take out travel insurance at the time of booking to cover your deposit payment.

What is the average age of someone travelling on one of our tours

Our tours have been designed for the age group 50+. We recognise that some travellers may find our itineraries challenging. We therefore require all our passengers to complete a fitness to travel declaration as part of their passenger registration.

What are your group sizes?

Our group size depends on the destination. On safari it’s 16, on tours in Australia and around the world it’s 25.

Can flights be upgraded to premium economy, business class or first class?

Yes, of course. For tours that already include airfares we will just add a supplement amount to the invoice for the upgrade which will be due in addition at the same time as the progress payment.

Can frequent flyer points be used to book flights?

Yes, points can be used to book flights, however this needs to be done directly with the airline. You can then make a ‘Land Only’ booking.
