Check-in to your hotel for the next two nights right in the centre of Hobart. Join your fellow travellers at our Welcome Dinner tonight at Mures Upper Deck on Hobart’s waterfront with superb views over Victoria Dock. Mures Upper Deck’s passion for the sea and Tasmanian produce shines in each dish.

Chocolate, Wine & Gourmet Mushrooms (B/L)

Enjoy a delicious day exploring some of Tasmania’s finest producers. You will travel to Richmond to Federation Artisan Chocolates with a hands-on chocolate making experience and create your own Tasmania-shaped chocolate to take home.

Then you will stop at Pooley Wines, one of Tasmania’s most celebrated wine estates, for a guided tour of the historic property and beautiful gardens, followed by a leisurely lunch showcasing local produce expertly paired with Pooley wines.

Later, visit Tunnel Hill Mushrooms for an engaging farm and tunnel tour, learning how gourmet mushrooms are cultivated in an old railway tunnel. Try some freshly harvested mushrooms cooked on the one-of-a-kind train BBQ.

Bruny Island (B/L)

You’re off to Bruny Island today renowned for its rugged coastlines, spectacular views, abundant wildlife and exceptional local food.

After boarding the ferry from Kettering, enjoy the scenic journey across the D’Entrecasteaux Channel before arriving on the island. Travel through the charming seaside settlement of Adventure Bay, one of Bruny Island’s most picturesque locations, framed by sweeping white-sand beaches and lush coastal forest. Enjoy the stunning outlook from Roberts Point before exploring some of the producers the island is most famous for. 

Visit Bruny Island Chocolate Company, where handcrafted chocolates and sweet treats showcase locally sourced ingredients. Garden enthusiasts will enjoy a tour of HIBA Gardens, a beautifully designed cool-climate garden featuring rare and unusual plants, tranquil water features and thoughtfully curated landscapes that blend seamlessly with the island’s natural environment.

Then enjoy freshly shucked oysters for lunch. Continue to Bruny Island Cheese Co. for a tasting of their award-winning artisan cheeses, crafted using traditional methods and premium Tasmanian milk.

Finally, visit Bruny Island Honey to learn about the island’s unique Ligurian bees and sample their renowned honey products.

Today, you will enjoy Tasmania’s picturesque Midlands as you travel from Hobart to Launceston, taking in rolling farmland, historic townships and beautiful countryside along the way.

This morning you will enjoy a guided walk through the vineyards and grounds of Josef Chromy Wines, learning about the estate’s history, winemaking philosophy and cool-climate varieties. A seasonal lunch, thoughtfully paired with estate wines, showcases the region’s outstanding produce.

In the afternoon, board a Tamar River cruise and relax as you take in the ever-changing scenery and rich maritime heritage that define this beautiful northern Tasmanian waterway.

Check-in to your unique hotel, Peppers Silo Hotel for two nights. This property is housed in a historic building with four 35m tall grain silos overlooking the Tamar River Basin and Cataract Gorge.

In the afternoon, you’ll head to a truffle farm for an immersive truffle hunt, learning how these prized delicacies are located with the help of trained dogs. Have you ever tried truffle ice cream before? Well, you will today!

Farewell Dinner at Grains of the Silo restaurant tonight, where the chef will serve a curated ‘Let us feed you’ menu, bringing the island’s harvest straight to your table.

Launceston - End of tour (B)

Enjoy a leisurely free morning in Launceston, giving you time to relax and make the most of your final hours in Tasmania. With a late hotel check-out arranged for your comfort.

In the afternoon, transfer to Launceston Airport for your flight home, taking with you wonderful memories of Tasmania’s spectacular landscapes, beautiful gardens, outstanding food and wine, and the warm hospitality experienced throughout.

  • Cancellations received prior to departure will incur loss of deposit.
  • Cancellations received between 119-60 days prior to departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations received between 59-30 days prior to departure will incur a 75% cancellation fee plus any non-recoverable costs incurred.
  • Cancellations received within 30 days prior to departure will incur 100% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations must be sent in writing.
  • Cancellation fee is based upon the total amounts paid including tours, airfares and all other travel arrangements.
